Minoan Lines was founded in Heraklion in 1972, and has grown year after year to become the Company of reference in international routes from Italy to Greece and domestic routes in Greece. Since 2008 Minoan Lines has been part of Grimaldi Lines Group which is the holder of 88% of the shares.
Minoan Lines offers daily connections from Ancona to Igoumenitsa and Patras, biweekly from Trieste to Igoumenitsa and Patras and daily from Piraeus to Heraklion. The connections are operated with modern Cruise Ferries equipped with all comforts.

All the ships in Minoan Lines fleet own international certifications about safety on board to ensure to passengers a safe and reliable trip. The most important are:

Minoan Lines is holding ISO 14001 RINA certification on environmental management in passenger and vehicle at sea, in addition, all business processes are developed accordingly to EN 9001.

Minoan Lines does not neglect the importance of cleanliness of its ships and the quality of the food and drinks that are served on board by performing continuous controls. In addition, the company is ISO 22000 HACCP certified.
