On October 16th, 2009 the HSF "Cruise Europa" began offering services from Ancona to Igoumenitsou-Patras, Greece.

This innovative cruise ferry, the largest in the Mediterranean line, is 225meters long and 31 meters wide and can transport up to 3.000 passengers (over 1.200 in cabins), and 250 automobiles and 180 trucks or, alternatively, over 900 cars, campers and vans(over 3000 linear meters).

Equipped with the same standards as a cruise ship, these vessels are highly advanced energy savers and committed to respecting the environment.

The ship also offers new categories of cabins and recliner chairs, as well as the categories already in use:

Airline recliner seats – Business Class
Junior Suites for 2, 3, 4 and 5 persons, with 1 full size bed, 1 sofa bed, and 1 or 2 bunks, plus a frigo bar and T’V.

In June of 2010, the "Cruise Europa" will be joined by its sister vessel, the "Cruise Olympia" positioning MINOAN LINES as the reference point for Italy – Greece.

Onboard currency

The official currency onboard is the Euro. On international lines ít is possible to exchange currency into Euros utilizing official bank rates. All credit cards are accepted.

Non-smoking Area

The ship follows Eurpean non smoking rules with the exception of certain limited areas reserved for smokers.

An ecologically sensitive Trip

Minoan Lines pays particular attention to environmental issues and to the disposal of garbage. Onboard you will find specific differentiated waste bins for recycling.

Pet Hospitality

All the Minoan Lines ships have a special area dedicated to pets, complete with kennel/cage space. Food and clean up is the pet owner's responsibility.
