Starting from 1st May 2022, for all passengers arriving in Greece, the presentation of the Covid-EU Digital Certification (so-called “Green Pass”), or equivalent, is no longer required, therefore passengers are no longer required to show a certificate valid vaccination or recovery from COVID-19, nor evidence of a negative SARS-CoV-2 infection test result (PCR or rapid antigen test). The PLF by travelers from all countries is no longer mandatory.
However, the measures that provide – in the event of a positive Covid-19 detected in Greece – a mandatory period of isolation for travelers who tested positive and for their next contacts remain in force. For an in-depth study of the quarantine procedures provided by the Greek authorities in the event of a positive Covid-19, a careful reading of the in-depth study by the Embassy is recommended.
More information on the measures envisaged for entry into Greece is available on the following website, by the Greek Civil Protection: https://travel.gov.gr/#/.
